Accessibility commitment

The Israel Association of Cinema and Television Professionals (ACT) makes every effort and invests significant resources to provide all of its customers with an equal, dignified, accessible and professional service. In accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the regulations enacted under it — including the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013 – we work to ensure that a person with a disability can receive the services provided to all customers, independently and on equal terms.

About the website accessibility

We strive to provide our visitors with content that is as accessible as possible, regardless of the technology in which the site was built. The site conforms to the requirements of the Israeli Standard SI 5568 at conformance level AA, which is based on the international WCAG2 standard published by the W3C.

The digital accessibility is delivered using the UA – User Accessibility platform, which supports leading assistive technologies including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack. The site has been tested with the leading browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari — in their up-to-date versions, both on desktop and on mobile devices.

  • Personal assistance during the service when needed.
  • Entry with a guide dog or service dog is permitted in all service areas.

Accessibility exceptions on the site

Due to technical complexity or dependence on factors outside our control, certain parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. These include:

  • Third-party content embedded in the site (maps, videos, social widgets)
  • PDF files uploaded before the accessibility process
  • Pages and sub-systems currently being updated

We are continuously working to identify and remediate these exceptions. In any case — you are welcome to contact our accessibility coordinator (see details below) to receive the content or service through an alternative channel.
