Intra-Departmental Professional Classifications

• Script Manager
• Trainee Script Manager

 Script Manager

1. Classification Change request form – which includes 2 recommendations (director / photographer / 1^st assistant producer / editor).
2. Current professional CV.
3. Minimum of 6 productions in full.
4. Minimum of 180 days of filming.
5. Minimum of 1 production using 2 cameras simultaneously.
6. Presentation of full script management reports of a filming day as sent to the editing room – including use of 2 cameras (an example of the reports format can be found on the ACT website).

• ALL CLAUSES ABOVE ARE OBLIGATORY IN ORDER TO CHANGE CLASSIFICATION AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE CONSIDERATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT’S REPRESENTATIVE.

Trainee Script Manager

1. Membership request form.
2. Current CV including relevant education in cinema, television or media studies.

• APPROVAL OF THE TRAINEE’S REQUEST TO JOIN THE DEPARTMENT IS CONDITIONAL ON THE DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE’S CONSIDERATIONS.
